Liftmaster Model 3255 professional line electric motor is a rugged and reliable chain drive replacement garage door powerhead. Its durable 1/2 HP motor combined with an industrial-strength chain drive provides steady performance.

 

Includes multi function wall button, 1 Security+® Single-Button Remote Control Transmitter and photo eye protection system.

 

This unit will replace any 1/2 H.P. residential chain drive garage door opener made by Liftmaster, Sears or Craftsman made after 1981. 

 

To install simply loosen your chain assembly enough to disengage from the powerhead sprocket, disconnect wires,  un-bolt the old worn out power head from your rail assembly and re-install the new power head in reverse order.  Install the included Protector photo eye system and adjust limits and force adjustment according to manual. Your existing transmitters will not work with this system unless they are  315MHZ. The unit does come with 1 transmitter and you can order more as options.
