I think the person I spoke to was Evan. I told him what I needed and he double checked with another person and came back and verified that what I needed would work with my 1991 Overhead Garage Door. The instructions were straightforward and we now have a functional garage door again. And also you saved us about 130.00 based on what the local Overhead Door Company wanted us to purchase, something I really did not need. I knew there had to be an opener out there that I needed and you guys had it. Thanks!
All was good except the instructions were a little confusing. But, I got it to work finally.

After purchasing a less expensive garage door remote opener that I could not to sync with my equipment, I had to purchase the company brand remote at a much higher cost. This remote easily programmed to my opener.
I was a little skeptical about the remote that I needed would work as there was a negative review on the Door Parts website. So I called Tyler and spoke to him before I ordered. He reassured me that it would work and was able to get two remotes programmed right there on the phone with me and also paid for and shipped them before we closed our call. They both arrived within a few days and both worked right out of the box without any further programming. My opener mechanism is an Overhead Door model 450A at 312Mhz with 9 dip switches. I unreservedly recommend Door Parts and specifically Tyler. He was responsive, knowledgeable and trustworthy and I have no reservations about ordering from him.

I have an old garage door opener but it is still solid and operational. Just needed new remote openers as the old one was broken, the visor clip broke off. So we ordered two new ones, one of only a couple places has the 9 pin available. When received, one was broken (something wasn’t soldered properly). I emailed Tyler, and he promptly helped me with a return label and shipped me a replacement that worked just as it should. Really appreciate the quick response and resolution!!
Worked as expected
Door remote was perfect and instructions were very good.
This remote did NOT work, no matter what I did. It is 312 MHz, and that is one of the least used and supported frequencies in existence, so it would have helped to have more information in advance, so I didn't spend my money on this...
This remote did not work with my Overhead Door 450A 312MHZ garage door. But customer service was great and free returns were easy.
The remote I received worked properly. It just didn't work to replace my ancient, 40-year-old remote. The 3-way switches couldn't be made to work with the 2-way switches in my old remote. But Tyler at Door Parts was terrific, working with me as if my project was his own. And he was equally helpful arranging for return of the incompatible remote. Everything about this transaction was first class, and I will surely deal with Door Parts again if the need arises. (BTW: I found the same controller available elsewhere on the web - for $30 more! And it didn't include the free shipping, both ways!)
