Commercial Photo Safety Sensors | NEMA-4X

This NEMA-4 commercial photo eye kit provides UL 325 entrapment protection for commercial and industrial overhead doors. Two coded infrared sensors mount in flexible TPE brackets on either side of the door opening. The flexible design absorbs collisions and impacts that destroy rigid photo eyes, and the NEMA 4X / IP65 housing stands up to moisture, weather, and dust. Onboard LEDs indicate power and alignment, so setup and troubleshooting don't require a meter.

Compatible with Overhead Door and Genie X-Series commercial/industrial operators.

Installation Notes:

• Disconnect power to the operator before installing.
• Sensors are coded. The transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) are not interchangeable.
• Mount no higher than 6" above the ground on doors, or 27.5" on gates.
• Mounts with #8 sheet metal screws.
• Bracket height adjusts from 6" to 7.5" once the wing nut is loosened; sensor angle adjusts separately.
• Red and green LEDs report normal operation, no power, bad alignment or obstruction, and sunlight interference.
• An optional conduit connection set is available for installations that require all wiring in conduit. It includes flexible conduit and a junction box with a 1/2" knockout.
