Installation Notes

This is an electrical repair on a commercial operator. It should be done by a qualified technician.

Disconnect power at the source and follow lockout/tagout procedures (OSHA 1910.147) before opening the electrical box. Note or photograph the wiring on the old breaker, then remove it and install the new breaker with the wires in the same positions. Close the electrical box, restore power, and run the door through a full open and close cycle to confirm the operator runs normally without tripping. If the new breaker trips right away, check for a mechanical bind in the door or a motor problem before resetting it again.
