This torsion spring cable pair is designed for 8ft residential garage doors with a torsion system. The cable is 3/32" thick and 9' 5" (113") long, made with galvanized aircraft grade cable featuring 7 strands and 7 wires. Both ends are fitted with end sleeves for attachment to the torsion bar drums, and loops for securing to the bottom corner brackets.

Store owner replied: Tim, thank you for sharing this feedback. It looks like you are using these for your TorqueMaster system which also uses 3/32" cables. You might have had to cut the cable stop that is used for drums on the standard Torsion spring system. If you have any questions feel free to reach out.

Cable was pretty much as described and installed fine. The only hiccup I had was the cable loop included a plastic insert which is a great idea, however my peg it fits in wasn't deep enough to accommodate the extra thickness. I therefore removed the plastic insert so the cable loop would fit completely in the peg. The loop ended up being a bit larger then, but seems to be operating fine. Overall tho, I would highly recommend Tyler and this source for door parts.
There was a hiccup where they sent me just the springs when I ordered springs and cables, but they quickly rectified the issue. Companies that can quickly rectify issues are more important to me then being 100% accurate all the time. Great job!

The 3/32" non standard cables fit perfectly. I had three quotes to repair the garage door opener and all three said the opener could not be fixed. Two quotes at $800.00 and one at $600.00 to replace the opener and spring assembly. The $17.99 cable and a couple hours of work has it functioning perfectly.
