When replacing TorqueMaster Springs it is necessary to identify if the door utilizes the original TorqueMaster One, or the newer TorqueMaster Plus spring system.
The easiest way to distinguish these is by visually inspecting the end brackets. ToqueMaster One has a counter and winding fitting to the end, while TorqueMaster Plus has the anti-drop pawl and rachet gear inside the end bracket. You can also determine each type of spring system by looking at the winding shaft on the end of the springs.
The counterbalance weight (e.g. Wt. or Wgt.) on the sticker is the most important when determining the correct spring needed.
The spring's job is to store the mechanical energy from the weight of the door.Ā When this is done correctly the Opener | Operator has to do minimal work. It is best practice to choose springs within 10 pounds of the garage door weight as outside that will cause the motor to work harder than needed to open/close the garage door.

I thought the price was fair, and the website made a very confusing process of finding the right springs much easier. Included Documentation was good, but website documentation was excellent.
I purchased my new pair of TorqueMaster Plus springs from Door-Parts. I spoke to Tyler and he was extremely helpful and took the time to make sure I was ordering the correct springs. While I. The phone with him he printed the shipping label and pulls the parts to be shipped. I had my new spring within 5 days and they were exactly what I needed. Thank you Tyler for walking me through the purchase process.
I originally order my springs off Amazon but did not get what I needed from that vendor. So I reached out to Door Parts and spoke to Tyler and he was so helpful at making sure I was sent the exact spring. He actually printed the shipping label while we were on the phone and the item was picked up the next morning. I was replacing 2 torque master plus springs. I was happy to see that the new springs came with the sleeves which was great because one of mine springs was stuck and the sleeve was damaged when I had to drive the old one out. I highly recommended buying from this company.
