When replacing TorqueMaster Springs it is necessary to identify if the door utilizes the original TorqueMaster One, or the newer TorqueMaster Plus spring system.
The easiest way to distinguish these is by visually inspecting the end brackets. ToqueMaster One has a counter and winding fitting to the end, while TorqueMaster Plus has the anti-drop pawl and rachet gear inside the end bracket. You can also determine each type of spring system by looking at the winding shaft on the end of the springs.
The counterbalance weight (e.g. Wt. or Wgt.) on the sticker is the most important when determining the correct spring needed.
The spring's job is to store the mechanical energy from the weight of the door. When this is done correctly the Opener | Operator has to do minimal work. It is best practice to choose springs within 10 pounds of the garage door weight as outside that will cause the motor to work harder than needed to open/close the garage door.
These labels/stickers are located on the shaft that the springs are inside. Labels are often Yellow, Blue, or White and may have a slightly different layout than what is seen below.
Door Weight
WT or BAL WT refers to the garage door weight. Oftentimes, you may see that this says 0. You can use the specific spring information or the part number to search for each spring.
Left-Hand Spring Info
0.133X40.23 LH is part number 314970 (not shown) and is the Left-Hand spring information.
Right-Hand Spring Info
TM3 or TorqueMaster PLUS
0.137X42.85 RH is Part Number 314973 and is the Right-Hand Spring information.
Part Number
Wayne Dalton only includes the 6-digit part number for the right-hand spring. The left-hand spring info is generally on the top right of the same label. Here you have 0.133X40.23 LH (314970 - Not Shown) 0.137X42.85 RH (314973 - Shown Here)
Shaft Installation Side
This does not refer to any of the spring information. If you have a double spring system, both spring info will be displayed on this label on the lines above.
This is strictly for the original installation, referring to which side of the shaft this is installed on.

Called to make sure I was ordering the right springs to replace the Wayne Dalton springs in my garage. Arrived quickly and was the exact replacement. Will order again in the future.
A great purchase experience. If it's decided to DIY your Torquemaster spring set (or any repair), this is bar none the best place. If you have any questions - which you will - the technician I ordered from, Tyler, will explain them in detail. Super customer service! DOOR-PARTS (don't forget the 'S') is the go-to distributor for what you need. Factory installation instructions were included and all worked out well.

I was guided thru in ordering the right product which was awesome, something you usually don't get with other companies, made it a hold lot easier, much appreciated!
As always excellent customer service. Product fitted perfectly and installation was super easy. What comes to the pricing not blaming your pricing and complaining more in general the inflation.

Heikki
So much easier to replace broken springs on Wayne Daltons torque master spring compared to the torsion springs on regular garage doors. Torque masters are more safer and easier to work on. The orque master springs from doors.com are even cheaper than Amazon even with reasonable fast ups shipping. Install was straight forward with included instructions. Only omission in instructions is where to position the vise grips when winding tension on cables, pls add for future customers. Highly satisfied, would buy again, and would spread the good news and recommend door.com.
I have an abnormally large garage door that is extra heavy for my area. And they did not ship the product until they could confirm the product was correct and not a incorrect purchase which I actually appreciated. They contacted me by phone and confirmed the part number that was on the garage door. I felt like that was going above and beyond what you see out in the market today as far as customer service goes.
Im not the type to return items I ordered, but am the type to judge a vendor on whether or not they offer a return policy. Which im sure this vendor does. However, after having Tyler from this company reach out to me. Asking for a review of the product 1-5 stars. Before I did so, I explained to him my situation. Which im sure was well with the return time frame amd he never responded. So he contacted me for a review, bit when I responded with a potential return, he never replied back.
My review is solely based on customer service. Product is still sitting in its original package, untouched.
Thanks for the help Tyler.
